Job Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Merchant to support our merchandising and export operations. The ideal candidate will assist in managing international client accounts, coordinating production timelines, and ensuring timely delivery of export orders. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our global sales, design, and operations teams to deliver excellence in B2B furniture trade.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Merchant and Export teams in managing B2B client orders, quotations, and product assortments.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely fulfillment of export shipments.
- Assist in vendor sourcing, cost negotiations, and product pricing for bulk export orders.
- Maintain and update product catalogues, line sheets, and export documentation.
- Track and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to support strategic decisions.
- Liaise with international clients for order updates, customization requirements, and sample approvals.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and trade materials for client meetings and international exhibitions.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or related field.1–3 years of experience in merchandising, export operations, or B2B sales (preferably in the furniture or home décor industry).Strong understanding of export documentation, logistics coordination, and client servicing.Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP / CRM systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English fluency required).Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.What We Offer :
