Required Skills and Experience

• The candidate should have a total of 8+ years of overall experience, with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in Cloudera.
• Expertise in data mining, data storage and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes
• Cloudera Hadoop admin or support L2 Knowledge
• Certification Hadoop Administration
• Certification RedHat Linux Administration
• mySQL / postgreSQL knowledge
• VMware Virtualization knowledge preferred
• Knowledge on Pure and Isilon storage, S3 file systems is added-advantage
• Must be able to engage with technical people but also with semi-technical senior stakeholders and customer's application team
• Well-versed knowledge on Network, Storage and API's creation and debugging
• Experience of the following would be useful but is not essential :
• Containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
• System admin and tuning of Linux based servers
• MySQL / Cassandra / ElasticSearch Database administration
• Cloud platform solutions (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Communication Skills : Must be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues, to derive technical requirements from business needs and problems
