All associates at Marriott Tech Accelerator will be ANSR employees, delivering services exclusively to ANSR's client, Marriott International.Role Title : Senior Software Engineer – Front-EndPosition Summary : Marriott International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our Hotel Websites (HWS) team within IT Application Development. This role is ideal for a passionate engineer with a strong background in modern JavaScript frameworks and a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance web applications. You will play a key role in developing user-facing features, integrating backend APIs, and collaborating across multiple teams including DevOps, backend engineering, and product management.Job Responsibilities : Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using React.Js, Next.Js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Architect and implement reusable components and front-end libraries that align with Marriott’s design and performance standards.Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, ensuring seamless data flow and robust error handling.Lead front-end technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.Work closely with UX / UI designers to translate UX designs and prototypes into functional, interactive interfaces.Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all supported platforms.Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and frameworks, and evaluate their potential adoption within Marriott’s tech stack.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align front-end development with business goals and user needs.Work with multiple teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services and APIs into the front-end architecture.Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of front-end applications.Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.Required Qualifications : 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.Strong proficiency in React.Js, Next.Js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.Experience integrating with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.G. Harness, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker).Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Qualifications : Experience with performance optimization and accessibility standards.Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.Exposure to cloud platforms (e.G., AWS) and server-side rendering concepts.Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira / confluence.Experience with enterprise content management systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar platforms is a plus.Familiarity with personalization, content targeting, and dynamic rendering strategies within CMS environments.Education and Certifications : Graduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and / or equivalent experience / certificationWork location : Hyderabad, India.Work mode : HybridMarriott’s core values : At Marriott, our core value make us who we are.
