Job Description – Project Manager (with BA & Scrum Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Business Analysis and Scrum to lead and deliver complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring project success through effective planning, execution, and delivery. This role requires a balance of project management expertise, business analysis skills, and hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end technical project delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives are met.
  • Define and manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Own and drive cross-functional collaboration across Developers, QA, DevOps, clients, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and governance.
  • Business Analysis
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Support functional and UAT testing to ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, including BRD, FRD, and change requests.
  • Agile / Scrum Leadership
  • Act as Scrum Master for Agile projects – facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Manage product backlogs, prioritize tasks, and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Promote Agile best practices and coach teams on Scrum principles.
  • Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Act as a single point of contact for business, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Own and deliver comprehensive project reporting, including progress updates, risk & issue identification with mitigation strategies, and proactive communication of roadblocks to stakeholders and clients.
  • Build strong relationships across distributed / global teams.
  • Manage vendor interactions (if applicable).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in Project Management with hands-on Business Analysis experience.
  • Strong background in handling technical projects (application development, integrations, cloud, or enterprise systems).
  • Proven experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies ; Scrum Master experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, system architecture, APIs, data flows , and integration projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications : PMP, CSM, SAFe, or PRINCE2.
  • Experience with SQL queries, reporting tools, or basic data analysis .
  • Exposure to Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) or DevOps practices .
  • Experience in working with US / Global teams across time zones.
