Job Description – Project Manager (with BA & Scrum Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Business Analysis and Scrum to lead and deliver complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring project success through effective planning, execution, and delivery. This role requires a balance of project management expertise, business analysis skills, and hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end technical project delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives are met.
- Define and manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Own and drive cross-functional collaboration across Developers, QA, DevOps, clients, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and governance.
- Business Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Support functional and UAT testing to ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
- Maintain clear project documentation, including BRD, FRD, and change requests.
- Agile / Scrum Leadership
- Act as Scrum Master for Agile projects – facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Manage product backlogs, prioritize tasks, and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
- Promote Agile best practices and coach teams on Scrum principles.
- Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as a single point of contact for business, technical teams, and leadership.
- Own and deliver comprehensive project reporting, including progress updates, risk & issue identification with mitigation strategies, and proactive communication of roadblocks to stakeholders and clients.
- Build strong relationships across distributed / global teams.
- Manage vendor interactions (if applicable).
Required Skills & Experience
7–10 years of experience in Project Management with hands-on Business Analysis experience.Strong background in handling technical projects (application development, integrations, cloud, or enterprise systems).Proven experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies ; Scrum Master experience is highly desirable.Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.Solid understanding of SDLC, system architecture, APIs, data flows , and integration projects.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications
Certifications : PMP, CSM, SAFe, or PRINCE2.Experience with SQL queries, reporting tools, or basic data analysis .Exposure to Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) or DevOps practices .Experience in working with US / Global teams across time zones.
