Shift Timing : 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM (IST)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified CA or CPA with extensive experience in Finance & Accounting (F&A) and the Record to Report (R2R) process. The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in US accounting standards (US GAAP) and proven leadership skills in managing end-to-end R2R operations. As a Team Leader, you will oversee accounting deliverables, manage a team of finance professionals, and ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Record to Report (R2R) process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end / year-end close.
  • Review and oversee the preparation and finalization of financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities in line with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Supervise a team of accountants, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and other accounting adjustments.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within the F&A domain to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, FP&A) to ensure seamless accounting operations.
  • Manage audit requirements, internal controls, and compliance documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in accounting processes through proactive controls.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with strong exposure to the Record to Report (R2R) cycle.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a team leadership or supervisory role.
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Prior experience in a shared services or KPO environment is a plus.
