Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
5–7 years of proven experience in technical writing in a software or IT environment.
Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and technical documentation practices.
Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and developer documentation.
Experience with structured authoring (DITA / XML).
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or scripting languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Create, edit, and maintain clear, concise, and accurate documentation including user guides, installation manuals, API documentation, online help, and FAQs.

Work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to gather technical information and translate it into easy-to-understand content.

Organize and structure content to support discoverability, reuse, and scalability.

Adhere to documentation standards and style guides to ensure consistency across all documents.

Manage multiple documentation projects with competing deadlines.

Conduct peer reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of documentation.

Participate in product design and usability reviews to provide feedback from a documentation perspective.

Use tools like Markdown, XML, DITA, or other content authoring tools as required.
