Senior Data Engineer

# Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Developer with over 5 years of experience preferably in financial domain and expertise in Perl, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica and other related skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet business requirements.

# Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business needs.
• Develop and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica and other ETL tools.
• Develop and maintain code in Perl and other related technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
• Develop technical documentation for software solutions.
• Work collaboratively with the team to develop new solutions and improve existing ones.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
  
  

# Experience and Required Skill Sets

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Perl, SQL, PL/SQL, and Informatica.
• Experience with other programming languages and technologies such as Python, Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, Cloud technologies is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

# Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
