CTC Range : ₹3.5–4 LPA

Role Summary

The QC Engineer – Incoming & In-Process is responsible for ensuring the

quality of raw materials received and monitoring in-process production to

maintain compliance with defined standards. This role demands hands-on

inspection, problem-solving, and coordination with cross-functional teams to

ensure zero-defect output and continuous improvement in quality

performance.

Key Responsibilities

Incoming Quality Control

  • Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components, and parts against specifications and purchase orders.
  • Prepare inspection reports and escalate any deviations found.
  • Participate in First Article Inspections (FAI) and sample approval processes.

In-Process Quality Control

  • Conduct in-process quality checks across production stages to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Identify real-time defects or process deviations and initiate immediate corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to quality checkpoints and control plans on the shop floor.
  • Coordination & Problem Solving

  • Collaborate with production supervisors and operators for smooth implementation of quality standards.
  • Lead or support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for defects or non-conformities.
  • Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation & Tools

  • Maintain comprehensive inspection records, report, and change logs.
  • Ensure all inspection tools and gauges (callipers, micrometres, etc.) are calibrated and used correctly.
  • Support internal and external audits with traceable documentation.
  • Candidate Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection methods , gauging techniques , and measurement tools .
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Preferred Industry Background

    Automobile / Auto Components Engineering / Fabrication / Manufacturing setups with strong QC

    procedures
