Role Overview :
The Quality Manager is responsible for spearheading quality assurance and quality control (QA / QC) efforts to ensure that all products and processes meet internal and external quality standards. This role involves strategic planning, process validation, staff management, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Quality Leadership :
- Lead QA / QC objectives by contributing to strategic plans and reviews.
- Prepare and execute action plans for improving production, productivity, and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
- Compliance & Documentation :
- Ensure in-process and finished products comply with internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Validate quality processes by establishing specifications and performance qualifications.
- Maintain and update quality assurance procedures and documentation.
- GMP & Process Validation :
- Develop and enforce Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) systems.
- Validate manufacturing processes and provide documentation support.
- Assure consistent production quality through robust quality systems.
- Financial & Operational Management :
- Estimate quality assurance requirements and prepare annual budgets.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
- Vendor & Partner Oversight :
- Monitor quality performance of vendors and strategic partners.
- Ensure compliance with company requirements and quality standards.
- Audits & Risk Management :
- Oversee performance monitoring systems such as audits and spot visits.
- Monitor non-conformance, change control, and risk assessment activities.
- Liaise with auditors during inspections and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Work with management on product development, engineering design, and training methods.
