Senior Crypto Trader & Investment Analyst

Rising Fund – Liquid Crypto Fund | Global, Remote

Rising Fund is a liquid crypto fund founded by professionals from traditional finance and digital assets. We actively manage a portfolio of liquid crypto assets while selectively investing in early-stage opportunities. We are seeking a Senior Crypto Trader & Investment Analyst to partner with the Fund Principal in driving trading strategies, research, and portfolio execution.

This role is ideal for a crypto-native trader-researcher with deep knowledge of on-chain markets, DeFi strategies, and tokenomics — someone equally comfortable running directional trades, yield farming, and liquidity management as they are writing high-quality research.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Trading & Portfolio Execution

Execute trades across CEXs and DeFi venues with precision and risk discipline.

Actively deploy capital across DeFi strategies (yield farming, liquidity provision, arbitrage) to generate yield while managing risk.

Monitor positions, liquidity conditions, and funding dynamics to optimize portfolio performance.

Identify and execute directional trades based on fundamental, on-chain, and technical signals.

Run scenario analysis, stress tests, and risk frameworks for portfolio hedging and downside protection.

Research & Strategy

Conduct in-depth research on protocols, tokens, and sectors to identify asymmetric opportunities.

Produce actionable research reports, trade theses, and investment memos.

Integrate on-chain analytics, tokenomics, and market structure insights into trading strategies.

Contribute to macro / thematic outlooks to shape portfolio positioning.

Collaboration & Reporting

Work directly with the Fund Principal on trade ideas, portfolio allocation, and risk frameworks.

Support internal reporting, dashboards, and performance attribution.

Provide inputs for investor communications, including market commentary and trade rationale.

REQUIREMENTS

5–7 years in trading, investment research, or portfolio management; with 2–3+ years direct experience trading crypto (CEX + DeFi) .

Proven experience in DeFi strategies (yield farming, liquidity provision, staking, arbitrage) and directional crypto trading.

Strong knowledge of market microstructure, execution workflows, and risk management in both CEX and DeFi.

Ability to produce trade-driven, professional-grade research reports .

Advanced analytical skills : valuation, on-chain data, and quantitative modeling.

Detail-oriented with strong communication skills (both written reports and trade pitches).

Self-starter, able to operate in a fast-paced, global remote setup.

Advanced degree in finance, economics, or related field preferred; CFA / MBA a plus.
