About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Android Firmware Developer with strong expertise in Embedded C, Linux OTA, Bootloader, and Firmware Development. The role involves building robust firmware solutions for Android-based platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Android platforms.
Work on Embedded C programming and low-level system integration.
Develop and enhance Bootloader and OTA (Over-The-Air) update mechanisms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, QA) to deliver high-quality firmware solutions.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization for embedded systems.
Ensure security, performance, and reliability of firmware releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

5-7 years of proven experience in firmware development.

Strong expertise in :

1. Embedded C programming.

2. Linux Kernel, Drivers, and OTA mechanisms.

3. Bootloader development and debugging.

Hands-on experience with embedded platforms and system bring-up.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI / CD workflows.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments.

Good to Have :

Experience with Android HAL layers and system services.

Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS).

Knowledge of security concepts in firmware development.
