What you’ll do - Lead and manage a team of Java developers, overseeing application development and support - Guide the design, build, and deployment of scalable Java / Spring Boot solutions aligned with business needs - Collaborate across teams, defining project scope and deliverables with stakeholders, product managers, and engineers - Enforce coding standards and best practices through code reviews to ensure high-quality development - Mentor and coach team members, providing ongoing technical guidance and supporting their growth - Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets—ensuring on-time and in-scope delivery - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and complex technical issues - Drive hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development - Stay updated on the latest Java, cloud, and containerization tools and trends - Serve as technical escalation for critical project challenges What you will bring - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - 12–14 years’ relevant experience, with 3–4 years managing multidisciplinary development teams - Deep expertise in Java, Spring / Spring Boot, building RESTful APIs - Hands-on experience with Kafka (data pipelines / streaming) and Redis (caching / real-time) - Proficiency in CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred) - Experience with Angular or React is a plus - Proven project management and Agile development skills - Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Why Ivanti? - Friendly, flexible schedules—work where you excel - Competitive compensation and tailored benefits for you and your family - Diverse, global teams—collaborate across 23+ countries - Access to world-class learning and career development - Culture of belonging—every perspective and every story contributes to our mission What drives us Ivanti’s mission is to elevate human potential within organizations by managing, protecting and automating technology for continuous innovation.
