Product Engineering Lead - Satellite Intelligence Platform

We’re seeking a Software Engineering Lead to guide the design, development, and deployment of our AI-driven satellite intelligence products. This is a hands-on technical leadership role — you’ll work closely with the founders and AI / CV teams to define the engineering roadmap, shape the software architecture, and ensure high-quality, production-grade systems are built on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the software engineering roadmap aligned with the company’s product strategy.

Translate vision into actionable engineering requirements for different product versions and releases.

Collaborate with AI / CV teams to productize algorithms and workflows into deployable software modules.

Design and validate hardware–software architectures for scalable and reliable performance.

Establish coding, testing, and CI / CD best practices to ensure production readiness.

Lead the evaluation and selection of technology stack across front end, back end, storage, and orchestration.

Manage day-to-day execution, sprints, and deliverables of the software engineering team.

Take end-to-end ownership of delivery timelines, ensuring quality, performance, and stability across releases

Preferred Skills

5+ yrs of experience in building core AI / CV products at scale for high data volume throughput

Strong command over Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js).

Proven experience in architecting distributed systems or AI / ML platforms.

Hands-on experience with Docker, CI / CD pipelines, and workflow orchestrator (e.g., Slurm, Argo, Airflow).

Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, API design, and system integration.

Demonstrated ability to lead small teams, mentor engineers, and manage delivery timelines.

Prior experience in AI, computer vision, or geospatial applications is a strong plus
