Art Director

A leading Indian conglomerate is looking to hire an Art Director for their media business :

Job Purpose :

Seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Art Director to lead the visual identity of our magazine. The role involves conceptualizing, designing, and supervising all visual elements across print and digital platforms to ensure a compelling, consistent, and premium reader experience.

Job Responsibilities :

• Define and execute the overall design direction of the magazine, ensuring alignment with editorial objectives and brand positioning.
• Lead the development of layouts, covers, and visual assets for print and digital editions.
• Oversee photo shoots, illustrations, and commissioned artwork , ensuring creative output meets quality and brand standards.
• Supervise the end-to-end design process , including typography, imagery, and visual flow for optimal reader engagement.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and production teams to deliver integrated creative solutions.
• Manage relationships with external creative partners such as photographers, illustrators, and freelance designers.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget , while maintaining high creative standards and Global compliance requirements of the brand.
• Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the in-house design team
• Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices in editorial design and publishing innovation .
