Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control : Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes, procedures, and SOPs to ensure consistent product quality.
- Audits and Inspections : Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas of non-compliance.
- Issue Resolution : Identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues by implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaboration : Coordinate with cross-functional teams (including SWA teams) to address and resolve quality concerns.
- Data Analysis : Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Documentation : Prepare, maintain, and update all relevant quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Safety Management : Conduct safety training sessions, enforce safety protocols, and report / investigate accidents or incidents promptly.
- Inter-Departmental Coordination : Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and timely resolution of inter-departmental issues.
- Continuous Improvement : Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
- Production Control : Halt production when unacceptable goods or processes are identified until issues are resolved.
- Quality Management System : Ensure full compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
- Receiving Inspection : Conduct timely inspections of incoming materials to ensure conformance with quality criteria.
- Discrepancy Reporting : Identify and report any discrepancies or defects detected during inspections.
- Material Management : Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials and products as per company guidelines.
- Supplier Quality Monitoring : Share monthly supplier rejection data with the Purchase Department, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Final Inspection : Verify finished products / components against drawings, OPR sheets, and specifications before approval.
- Defective Component Management : Ensure prompt flagging, rework, or replacement of defective / damaged products and maintain related data.
- Record Maintenance : Maintain accurate records and documentation for all quality control activities.
- 5S Implementation : Maintain 5S standards in the inspection area and across the shop floor.
- Code of Conduct : Adhere to company policies, procedures, and code of conduct at all times.
