Job description

Description :

Parse and normalize brokerage and market data (CSV, JSON, API).
Design Node.js pipelines for data transformation and storage.
Build automation for daily data ingestion and reconciliation.
Collaborate directly with the founder on backend design and optimization.
Use LLM tools for coding, refactoring, and documentation to accelerate delivery.

Required Skills :

Strong proficiency in Node.js / JavaScript (ES6+).

Experience with data parsing, ETL, and reconciliation.

Comfort using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) as part of development workflow.

Understanding of options trading basics (strike, expiry, delta, etc.).

Clean, consistent coding and debugging habits.

Nice to Have :

Python for data workflows.

Experience with financial or market data APIs.

Active trading experience or portfolio interest.

Cloud experience (GCP / AWS).

Engagement Details :

Type : Part-time (1520 hrs / week)

Schedule : Must overlap with U.S. West Coast hours

Start Date : Immediate

Duration : Long-term with potential for full-time
