Job descriptionBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology field. 7+ years’ experience, preferable within financial services and / or a shared service model Strong attention to detail & analytical skills. RMDS experience (PostgreSQL, SQL MI) Designing and developing low to moderate complex data integration solution Hands on experience of ETL / ELT tools (Informatica / Nifi / Snaplogic) Experience in cloud services such as AWS or Azure Understanding of Data Modeling Experience with powerBI Hands-on experience in building automation of CI / CD pipelines in Jenkins Core etc. Experience in Python, Shell Scripting and Java or similar programming languages Experience / Knowledge on Kubernetes and Containerization Knowledge of Logging, Telemetry and data security on AWS / Azure Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets with ELT / ETL tools Strong Data modeling experience for OLTP / OLAP and No SQL scenarios Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets. Very good organizational skills. Knowledge of agile methods is a plus. Successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres DB Experience with project management tools (agile tools), Office tools & presentation skills Experience with Snowflake will be an added advantage Good knowledge on ETL / ELT experience with both structured and unstructured data stores. Ability to work in an Agile team structure. Ability to gather customer requirements and make design decisions. Ability to mentor junior data engineers. Strong communication and presentation skills
