Training Manager-Chief Engineer-Tanker

Job Title : Training Manager

Qualification :

COC Class 1 for Engineers

Experience :

Sailing in various type of ships including Tankers and at least 5 years as C / E.

Experience as Trainer in reputable Maritime training centres for ME Engine and Wartsila RT Flex engines.

Experience as Trainer for Hydraulic and Electric / Automation courses will be added advantage.

Experience as on-board trainer will be also be added advantage.

Job Descriptions :

Report to head of Training centre.

In-charge of all training for engineers- in-house and using 3rd party training facilities.

Conduct regular training courses for ME and RTFLEX engines at Company's training centre

Participate in formulating new training courses for engineers.

Occasionally attend ships in India

Participate in Engine and electrical cadet recruitments and post sea training.

Arrange training of junior engineers in 3rd party training centres.

Maintain and arrange repairs of the training simulators and other equipment.

Record keeping and other administrative jobs related to trainings.
