Job descriptionExamine, diagnose, and treat patients with heart and vascular conditions. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECG, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterization. Provide preventive care, risk assessments, and patient education regarding heart health. Develop treatment plans that may include medication, lifestyle changes, or interventional procedures. Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. Respond to emergency cardiac cases and provide acute care management. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with medical regulations and hospital policies. Participate in hospital quality improvement programs, audits, and clinical research as required. Train and mentor junior doctors, residents, or interns as applicable.
