Iconic Resort & Restaurant | Cabo de Rama, South Goa

Are you a confident and professional hospitality leader with a natural flair for guest relations? The Cape Goa, an iconic resort and restaurant perched on the cliffs of Cabo de Rama, is seeking an experienced and people-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Relations & Reservations : Be the primary point of contact for guests — managing reservations, table allocations, and special requests while ensuring every guest receives a warm, seamless, and memorable experience.

Leadership & Team Support :

Support the Restaurant Manager in leading and motivating the front-of-house team, ensuring high service standards, teamwork, and professionalism at all times.

Service Excellence :

Maintain calm authority during service, anticipate guest needs, and handle feedback or complaints with confidence and grace.

Training & Development :

Help build a strong, service-driven culture by mentoring, training, and guiding the FOH team.

Operational Efficiency :

Oversee daily operations, reservations, and guest flow to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams.

Financial Awareness :

Assist in achieving revenue goals through effective upselling, cost awareness, and promoting special events and offers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a leadership role within a quality restaurant or resort.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills — professional yet approachable.

Organised, proactive, and confident under pressure.

Experience with restaurant operations, POS, and reservation systems.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
