Asset Transfer, Director, Product Support & Services ISG

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director in Asset Transfer team within Asia Wealth Management (AWM) Operations responsible for entering of securities and cash into the various Morgan Stanley systems to support cash and securities movements into and out of Morgan Stanley, as well as internal movements of cash and stock.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Director level position within the Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What You'll Do In The Role

• Serve as the primary supervisor within specific line or project area with accountability to associated risks
• Manage direct reports, leading 1 : 1s and career development, attracting and retaining high quality talent in line with our leadership commitments
• Review resources to ensure adequate coverage to deliver BAU commitments, highlighting current and future needs to manager
• Ensuring to perform End of Day checks and intra day checks based on various cut-offs
• Processing of asset transfer requests (Payments / Receipts) from the business
• Work with authorizers to ensure asset transfer requests are processed in a timely manner
• Liaise with the various departments to resolve any issues that may affect the timely settlement of the asset transfers
• Responsible to sign-off checklists
• Manage and implement supervisory procedures
• Acting as the key point contact person / Stakeholder Management
• Involvement in projects requiring IWM Asia operations input
• Preparing Quarterly and Annual Regulatory Reports to submit to the Regional Regulators covering Asset Transfer Transactions
