We are looking for a Video Editing Fresher who can think visually, edit fast, and adapt to different client styles. This role suits someone who enjoys working with short-form content, ad-style videos, and fast-paced creative workflows across multiple industries.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook ads
- Cut, trim, and assemble raw client footage into polished and engaging content
- Add transitions, on-screen text, sound design, colour corrections, and pacing suitable for performance marketing
- Create multiple variations of the same video for A / B testing
- Work closely with designers, scriptwriters, and the creative director
- Adapt editing style based on brand guidelines, target audience, and campaign goals
- Convert unstructured footage into clean, structured storytelling formats
- Follow naming conventions, folder structures, and Profitcast’s internal SOPs
- Handle quick turnarounds without compromising quality
- Stay updated on trends, hooks, transitions, viral formats, and editing styles
- Optimise videos for different aspect ratios : 9 : 16, 1 : 1, 16 : 9
- Maintain organised project files, timelines, and revisions
- Sync external audio, clean up noise, and apply basic sound enhancements
- Produce outputs aligned with platform export requirements and technical specifications
- Deliver edited videos on time, reliably, with strong attention to detail
