Job description

The role is an Offshore Test lead who will support the ROC Programme Testing lead and provide oversight across all system integration test (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT) and Non-functional testing (NFT) activities taking place in the Programmes

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support adoption of a common and consistent testing method and plan that is fully aligned with the ROC Programme test strategy across all test phases
  • Provide steer and guidance to the testing workstreams in the ODC across test phases
  • Point of escalation for risks and issues relating to ROC Programme Testing
  • Participate in Programme Test Workstream meeting and test phase progress check meetings
  • Support Establishment of Test teams aligned to the ROC Programme Testing Operating model, including offshore capabilities.
  • Alignment with the Banks Delivery quality governance
  • Support Test reporting processes (Daily progress reports)
  • Support Management of Risks and Escalations arising from testing perspective

Must-Have Skills / Experience :

  • Banking domain knowledge (solid understanding of banking core processes)
  • Broad technology knowledge across all layers (from network to applications to customer)
  • 10+ years' Experience in leading testing activities for large projects in Banking / Wealth Management. This should cover SIT, UAT and NFT Testing
  • Confident working directly with end users and stakeholders
  • Risk based testing mindset
  • Able to work in alignment with Project Teams on requirement review, test analysis, design and execution tasks.
  • Able to lead activities using standard Agile and testing tools - Jira, XRAY. Skills in test Automation Tools - Cucumber Selenium, Playwright, STEP or Cypress is a plus.
  • Able to contribute to discussions in the team, on which test level automation should be implemented

    • Nice to have Skills / Experience :

  • T24 Experience plus Testing experience in variety multiple technical platforms (React, Java GUI, Temenos, API layer, Database)
  • Cucumber (for BDD-style automated testing)
  • Test tools : Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, K6
  • Monitoring tools : Prometheus, Grafana, Tableau
  • Tracing / observability tools : Dynatrace / Open Telemetry / Grafana Tempo & Loki / Splunk
  • Test engineering focused on test automation
  • Test as Code (automated test infrastructure through code)
  • Requirement analysis for validating non-functional and functional requirements
  • Scripting and execution of automated tests
  • Experience analyzing and optimizing non-functional requirements (e.g., performance)
  • Root cause analysis based on client and backend application code
