(Urgent Search) Assistant Manager Legal

Work Location : Chennai / Bangalore

Key Responsibilities and Duties :

As a legal advisor, the candidate will be responsible for providing legal support to HR, Employment functions and verticals across geographies, globally, handling labour matters, employee disputes, recovery matters, and provide support in pre-litigation, alternative dispute resolutions and litigation management on all matters. The role would also involve providing legal advisory support on myriads of legal matters such as commercial or procurement contractual matters, handling criminal matters etc.

The candidate shall predominantly support with :

• 1. Drafting, reviewing, revising template service agreements / employment contracts, policies, and related documentation with respect to HR and employment matters;
• 2. Provide legal advisory services to the various HR functions on multiple portfolios such as recruitment, operations, employee policies and benefits, termination, lay offs and exit related etc;
• 3. Provide legal advisory services with respect Labour law compliance, employee disputes, communications, HR protocols etc.;
• 4. Advise / be part of inquiry and disciplinary proceedings and provide adequate support;
• 5. Advise various clients and stakeholders in the Company on pre-litigation, alternative dispute resolutions, negotiations and litigation matters of commercial or labour disputes, draft communications and liaise with external counsels, police or regulatory authorities;

6. Have experience in contracts drafting and review with respect to commercial transactions, on need basis
