Role Overview

Lead the design and build of floating bodies and auxiliaries for offshore renewables — including floating solar platforms, service pontoons, and near-shore structures. The role combines design, materials engineering, fabrication oversight, and mooring system development from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design floating structures (frames, decks, bulkheads, joints, stability, and buoyancy).
• Develop and test welded, bolted, and polymer joints (MS, SS, HDPE, composites).
• Design and size mooring and anchoring systems for metocean conditions.
• Optimize structures for weight, cost, stiffness, and corrosion protection.
• Oversee fabrication, QA / QC, NDT, and yard / site integration.
