About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Integration Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions for our insurance platforms. This role will be pivotal in enabling seamless data flow across underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing, and customer engagement systems by leveraging Azure Integration Services, APIs, and .NET frameworks .

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure API Management, Azure Functions, .NET, and modern integration patterns while also understanding the unique demands of the insurance domain—including security, regulatory compliance, and interoperability with core insurance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid .

Develop and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations for insurance applications (Policy Admin, Claims, Billing, CRM, Reinsurance, etc.).

Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze insurance system workflows and identify integration opportunities.

Ensure API security, governance, scalability, and monitoring using Azure API Management best practices.

Build and optimize .NET-based services and middleware for system interoperability.

Work closely with architects to establish integration standards, design patterns, and reusable frameworks .

Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues with a focus on reliability, performance, and compliance .

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to establishing a center of excellence for integration .

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on system integration and APIs .

Strong hands-on expertise in :

Azure API Management (APIM)

Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus

• .NET Core / .NET 6+ (C#)

REST, SOAP, JSON, XML standards

Proven track record in integrating with insurance platforms (policy admin, claims, billing, CRM, third-party data providers).

Experience with CI / CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps for integration delivery.

Strong understanding of insurance data security, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2), and IAM frameworks (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML) .

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with insurance industry standards (ACORD, ISO, HL7 where relevant).

Familiarity with API monetization models for insurance distribution ecosystems.

Background in cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architecture .

Prior work in insurance digital transformation, InsurTech integration, or partner ecosystems .
