Job Description
VMware and Cloud Administrator with 5–6 years of experience, possessing strong Technical knowledge with Good communication and client coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. VMware Administration
- Manage, monitor, and optimize VMware vSphere clusters and virtual machines.
- Ensure high availability, resource optimization, and performance tuning across the virtualized environment.
2. Windows Server Management
Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP services.Manage user access controls and security configurations across on-premises Windows servers.3. Storage Management
Configure, allocate, and maintain SAN / NAS storage systems.Ensure data redundancy, performance optimization, and availability.4. Backup and Recovery
Implement and monitor regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.Conduct periodic data restoration testing to ensure data integrity and business continuity.5. Network Administration
Maintain LAN / WAN connectivity, VLANs, firewalls, and routing configurations.Ensure secure, stable, and high-performance communication across systems.6. Patch and Security Management
Apply OS, firmware, and application patches as per compliance and audit requirements.Ensure systems meet security baselines and are protected against vulnerabilities.7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Continuously monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.Analyze trends and generate reports to proactively prevent issues and improve efficiency.8. AWS Cloud Administration
Manage AWS resources such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3 integrated with on-premises systems.Monitor cloud resource utilization and optimize performance and cost.9. VM Migration and Hybrid Integration
Plan and execute migrations from on-premises VMware environments to AWS or other platforms.Ensure minimal downtime, data integrity, and smooth hybrid environment integration.10. Vendor and Support Coordination
Work with hardware / software vendors and third-party providers for technical issue resolution.Collaborate with onshore teams and provide offshore remote support as required.Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in VMware vSphere administration .In-depth knowledge of Windows Server , Active Directory , and Group Policies .Proficiency in SAN / NAS management , network configuration , and backup tools .Experience managing AWS Cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.Familiarity with patch management , security compliance , and monitoring tools .Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Requirements
