The company is on a steady growth trajectory and is looking for an operations leader who can take full ownership of business performance and execution.
Role Summary :
The Operations Manager will function as the Chief of Operations, responsible for the company's overall business performance, process efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
This position is intended for a strong executor and strategic thinker who can take end-to-end responsibility of the business, akin to a Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business & Strategic Operations
- Translate management goals into actionable operational and financial plans.
- Drive revenue growth and ensure profitability through effective cost and margin management.
- Monitor business KPIs and prepare monthly review reports for management.
- Support business expansion, vendor partnerships, and new product additions.
2. Supply Chain, Procurement & Warehousing
Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution functions.Ensure timely stock availability, accurate order fulfillment, and efficient warehouse operations.Maintain batch traceability, stock rotation, and adherence to cold chain protocols where required.Implement process improvements and ERP / MIS-based monitoring systems.3. Finance & Commercial Management
Ensure timely collections and maintain credit discipline across customers.Manage payables, vendor settlements, and cost control initiatives.Work with finance team for budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial tracking.4. Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to all statutory norms — D&C Act, trade licenses, GST, and local regulations.Maintain all records, licenses, and documentation required by regulators.Ensure audit readiness and address any compliance observations proactively.5. People & Culture
Lead and mentor a team across warehouse, logistics, accounts, and admin.Establish clear reporting lines and performance goals.Create a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.6. MIS & Process Digitization
Drive use of ERP, digital dashboards, and real-time business analytics.Present monthly performance reports with data-backed insights and actions.Key Skills & Attributes :

Graduate or Postgraduate in Pharmacy / Commerce / Business ManagementMBA preferred (Operations / Supply Chain / Strategy)8–15 years of experience in pharma distribution, FMCG distribution, or healthcare logisticsMinimum 5 years in a senior operational or P&L leadership capacityCompensation & Growth
