Job Title : Android Middleware Engineer – Automotive

Experience : 3 to 8 Years

Location : Bangalore, Chennai

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and enhance Android middleware components and services.
  • Work on AOSP, HAL, JNI, and Android framework layers.
  • Implement Android services, AIDL, and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Platform, Hardware, UI) to integrate Android modules.
  • Debug, analyze logs, and resolve issues using tools like GDB and logcat.
  • Participate in feature definition, system integration, and validation testing.

Required Skills & Expertise :

  • Strong programming skills in Java, C, and C++ .
  • Hands-on experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) or Android IoT platforms.
  • Proficiency in JNI, Android SDK, Camera2 / CameraX APIs, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS .
  • Good knowledge of OOPS concepts, threading, and performance tuning .
  • Familiarity with Yocto / Linux build systems and debugging tools ( GDB, CMake ).
  • Experience in Automotive Infotainment , RTOS , or Embedded Linux environments.
  • Version control using Git and experience with CI / CD pipelines.
