Job descriptionOversee editing of books on history of India, culture, philosophy, yoga, and epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Coordinate with proofreaders and authors to ensure high quality publications. Lead the preparation of revised editions of existing titles and initiate work on new publications. PG in in History, Political Science, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Mass Communication or Library Science Minimum 10 years of experience as a Managing Editor in a publishing house, newspaper, or periodical. Prior teaching / research experience / Authoring books is an added advantage. Strong editorial judgment, managerial ability, and passion for heritage of India.
