About the Role
EQL Global AB is building next-generation financial research platforms that combine AI-first thinking with clean, powerful design. Our mission is to make complex financial data feel simple and intuitive for both individual and enterprise users. We are seeking a UI / UX Designer who sets a high bar for design, understands B2B and B2C needs, and is fluent with AI tools and Figma.
This is a fully remote position offering real ownership of product experiences in a tech-forward, AI-embracing culture.
Critical Requirements (Must-Have Before Applying)
Design Portfolio – Mandatory
Applications without a strong portfolio will not be considered. We need to see :
- End-to-end product design examples (web and mobile)
- At least one real-world B2B and one B2C product
- Case studies explaining your process, decisions, and impact
AI Tools Experience – Required
You must actively use :
GPT-based tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for UX writing, idea exploration, and problem-solvingAI design tools like Figma AI, Uizard, Galileo, Midjourney, etc.Bonus : Experience automating repetitive tasks or generating user flows with AIFigma Mastery – Essential
Deep proficiency required in :
Component libraries and design systemsAuto layout and responsive designPrototyping and animationsCollaborative workflowsDual Product Experience – Both B2B & B2C
You must have :
Designed enterprise-grade (B2B) platforms and consumer-facing (B2C) appsExperience across web and mobile platformsFull design lifecycle ownership—from discovery to deliveryKey Responsibilities
Design intuitive, elegant UIs and efficient UX flows for web and mobile applicationsOwn entire design cycles : research, wireframes, UI design, prototyping, handoffCollaborate with PMs, engineers, and founders to shape product directionApply AI tools to improve speed, creativity, and content quality in design processesConduct UX research and user testing to inform design decisionsMaintain and evolve our design system across platformsWhat We're Looking For
3+ years of product design experience (UI and UX)Strong portfolio showcasing real product work (not just concepts or mockups)Proven experience designing B2B dashboards, SaaS interfaces, and B2C appsDaily comfort using Figma and AI toolsExcellent communication skills to explain design decisions clearlyHigh attention to detail and consistencyBonus Points
