Job Title : Data Engineer

Experience : 6–8 Years

Work Mode : Remote (9 AM – 5 PM EST)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement robust data exchange and processing solutions using Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, and Databricks , with a solid foundation in ETL, SQL, and data warehousing concepts .

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory , Synapse , and DataBricks .
Perform data cleansing and migration using Python .
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL / T-SQL / PL-SQL queries and stored procedures.
Collaborate directly with clients and business teams to understand requirements and suggest optimal solutions.
Lead conversations with clients independently to propose best-fit data engineering approaches.
Ensure development adheres to best practices, coding standards, and modern data architecture principles.
Conduct unit, integration, system, and performance testing .
Participate in release estimation and planning .
Support, maintain, and enhance existing data solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or related field.

4–8 years of experience delivering end-to-end ETL projects .

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure ADF .

Knowledge of Databricks (PySpark / PySense) is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of DWH concepts , SQL Server , and the Azure ecosystem .

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients.

Must be comfortable with background verification (BGV) .
