Job Summary

You will be working as Project Engineer and will be a part of Automation team based in Bhubaneswar, India. In this role you will be responsible for development of PLC logic, HNI Screens, simulating and testing the logic, following quality & testing with check lists, preparing project documentations, writing operator manuals, onsite commissioning & remote support for different long product steel rolling mill automation projects.

Responsibilities :

Development of PLC logics

Development of HMI Screens

Support and troubleshooting of PLC software for Automation projects

Support for commissioning activities in the plant

Follow up and responsibility for Software incidents and issues occurred in the plants

Solution definition and validation in alignment with stakeholders

Collaborating with other developers and engineers to ensure project Success

Documenting the solutions and changes in the systems according to internal and external requirements.

Requirements

Experience in PLC Programming : Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell RsLogix

Experience in HMI : Aveva Intouch , Siemens Wincc , FactoryTalk

Field Sensors, Industrial Instrumentation , Network protocols etc.

Onsite PLC commissioning Experience

Enjoy working in a high-profile environment with constant verbal and written communication.

Travel Requirements : 30-40%

Your background

Education : B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

Work Experience : 2-4 years

Plant maintenance or project experience in long steel products rolling mills is a plus

MS-Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
