Position : Senior Manager

Qualification : CMA
Experience : 10 to 15 years in manufacturing sector, preferably in FMCG
Location : HO (Hyderabad), and travelling to plants
Key Responsibilities :
Costing & Pricing :
Prepare cost sheets and determine the product costing.
Perform batch costing and process costing for different products.
Ensure accurate product costing and pricing strategies.
Calculate and monitor standard costs and variances against actual costs.
Maintain cost records as per the Cost Accounting Standards / Cost Record Rules.
Cost Analysis & Reporting :
Analyze cost trends and provide reports / MIS on cost variations, inefficiencies, yield variations and opportunities for cost reduction.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management.
Assist in preparing financial statements, with a focus on manufacturing costs.
Conduct cost analysis for new products, trail runs and projects.
Reconcile Cost and Financial P&L
Inventory Management :
Monitor inventory levels, and track and record the cost of raw materials, packing materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Ensure accurate recording of inventory movements (issuances, receipts, adjustments).
Work closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure proper inventory control and cost management.
Budgeting & Forecasting :
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cost forecasts.
Perform variance analysis to compare actual performance with budgeted figures and provide corrective actions.
Support management in determining budget allocations and cost control measures.
Internal Controls & Compliance :
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., GST, TDS).
Maintain proper documentation of all cost-related transactions for audit and statutory purposes.
Implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of cost accounting processes.
Process Improvement :
Identify areas for process improvement in cost control and recommend changes to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
Support production teams in adopting cost-effective manufacturing practices.
Cross-functional Coordination :
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure that cost information is aligned with operational requirements.
Assist in evaluating cost-effectiveness for procurement decisions and capital expenditure planning and sales strategies.
Productivity & Efficiency Measurement :
Evaluate and report on manufacturing efficiency, including labor, machine, and overhead productivity.
Analyze capacity utilization and recommend improvements.
