Minimum Experience Required
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) products, with strong preference for work in the Payments domain .
Domain & Technical Expertise
Experience in API and application product development within the banking domain.Good understanding of database design and ability to perform basic SQL queries .Hands-on experience working with tools such as Azure DevOps or equivalent project tracking systems.Business Analysis Responsibilities
Conduct requirement management activities : requirement gathering, analysis, stakeholder discussions, and documentation.Perform feasibility analysis, gap analysis , and scope definition in coordination with project managers.Assist in impact analysis for changes post-baselining of requirements.Manage and document changes to requirements , ensuring version control and traceability.Facilitate requirements knowledge transfer and offer functional support to development, testing, and maintenance teams.SDLC Documentation & Artefact Ownership
Own and maintain :Business Requirement Documents (BRD)Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)User Stories, Use CasesUser Manuals and other related artefacts.Track traceability from user needs through proposal, specification, and implementation.Testing & Validation Responsibilities
Design and validate functional workflows and User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases.Participate in integration testing , UAT , and functionality testing .Conduct verification and validation to ensure product compliance with requirements.Review test plans, functional documents, and test cases created by external or QA teams.Tools & Methodologies
Skilled in Business Process Modelling (BPM) tools and proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.Stakeholder & Communication Skills
Act as a liaison between end-users, development teams, QA, and business stakeholders .Work across stakeholders to consolidate and manage requirements in a centralized repository .Support effective communication and coordination across cross-functional teams.Skills Required
