This role sets the overarching technology strategy within HMS, ensuring optimal use of tools and solutions to drive efficiency and innovation across the revenue cycle. The Director is accountable for evaluating technology options (build vs. buy), leading automation efforts, and coordinating with multiple teams to implement cutting-edge solutions like RPA. The individual will also serve as the face of technology strategy in leadership and stakeholder forums.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and execute the technology vision and strategy for the organization.
- Make critical technology decisions (tools, platforms, build / buy).
- Maintain an expert understanding of available tools and vendor technologies.
- Drive automation adoption, specifically through RPA, across business units.
- Lead the automation team including architects, developers, and analysts.
- Act as liaison with the Technology Steering Committee to align strategy.
- Manage automation project backlogs, roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks.
- Own the program's change management and communication plans.
- Coordinate across CI (Continuous Improvement), Insights, and Workflow teams.
- Control the automation budget and define long-term scaling strategy.
