PL / SQL Developer

We are looking for an experienced PL / SQL Developer to join our team for a Sybase IQ to SQL Server migration project. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in database development, data migration, and performance tuning, with proven experience converting complex Sybase stored procedures, triggers, and functions into SQL Server (T-SQL) equivalents.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze existing Sybase IQ database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers) and migrate them to SQL Server (T-SQL).
• Rewrite and optimize PL / SQL / Sybase stored procedures for SQL Server performance standards.
• Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and business analysts to ensure accurate data migration and validation.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of migrated objects.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution during migration cycles.
• Document conversion rules, technical specifications, and post-migration scripts.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
