SQL ETL Engineer (with Rest API and JSON Integration)

Overview :

A strong SQL Developer with hands-on experience in building ETL processes using SQL. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of REST APIs, payloads, JSON data formats, and version control systems. Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and the ability to interpret API calls from code / scripts based on SAS / Python / Angular / Node.js.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain ETL workflows using SQL.

Work with REST APIs to perform GET, PUT, and other standard requests.

Handle JSON file structures and integrate them into data workflows.

Use version control tools like Git for code management and collaboration.

Understand CI / CD processes and contribute to deployment pipelines.

Interpret API calls from within SAS, Python, Node.js and Angular codebases

Required Skills :

Strong SQL development and optimization experience.

ETL working knowledge (any ETL platform experience is good to have)

Familiarity with REST API calls, payloads and JSON integration

Experience with Git or similar version control systems

Understanding of CI / CD concepts

Data Analysis by querying data sources including data profiling.

Ability to interpret code, primarily Rest API calls in SAS, Python, Node.js, and Angular (no coding required).
