Job Scope :
The primary purpose of the role is to provide effective support and on-time execution of planned operational activities, ensuring that both customer and DHL reporting requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Invoice Generation : Prepare and issue accurate invoices for customers based on agreed-upon services and contracts. Ensure all billing information is complete and correct before sending.
- Billing Discrepancies : Identify and resolve any billing discrepancies by working closely with internal departments and customers. Ensure issues are addressed promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Customer Communication : Liaise with customers to clarify invoicing queries, ensuring that they receive clear, professional responses. Address customer requests for invoice modifications or explanations as needed.
- Record Management : Maintain updated customer accounts and invoice records in the billing syst em, ensuring accuracy for audit purposes and financial reporting.
- Payment Follow-up : Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to ensure timely payments from customers, sending reminders when necessary, and providing reports on outstanding invoices.
- Compliance and Reporting : Ensure that all invoicing processes adhere to company policies, tax regulations, and industry standards. Generate reports on invoicing activities for management review.
Experience : Experience in managing transport / inbound and outbound logistics in a manufacturing industry is required.
Qualification : Graduate additional qualifications in Logistics Management are desirable.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong communication skills (Fluent in English and Hindi other languages advantageous).Good knowledge of commercial vehicles and operational documents.Proficiency in computer applications, especially Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.Problem-solving and consulting skills.Understanding of transportation industry dynamics and financial impacts.
