This includes understanding current market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic planning, product development, and marketing initiatives.
- Conduct primary and secondary research on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor performance.
- Design and execute surveys, focus groups, interviews, and observational studies to collect data.
- Analyze customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
- Compile and analyze statistical data using modern tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Python, Tableau).
- Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends based on research findings.
- Prepare clear and compelling reports, dashboards, charts, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Presentation of research findings to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Translation of complex data into understandable insights for business strategy, product development, and marketing.
- Tracking of competitor products, pricing, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Benchmarking of performance against key competitors and industry standards.
- Closely working with marketing, product, sales, and executive teams to align research goals with business objectives.
- Insight provision to support campaign development, go-to-market strategy, and customer segmentation.
