Job descriptionMaintain and support the application environment to ensure all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Perform Shell Scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency. Provide hands-on support for UNIX-based systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise. Monitor application performance and implement optimizations to improve system reliability and functionality. Collaborate with development teams to integrate Rest and SOAP services into existing and new applications. Assist in managing XML data exchanges, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of information. Contribute to production support by swiftly addressing and resolving disruptions or system failures. Document and maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and enhancements for future reference.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong knowledge in Shell Scripting, UNIX, and Application Support (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in using Rest and SOAP protocols to facilitate effective communication and data exchange.
- Experience in working with XML for data representation and information retrieval processes.
- Proven ability in production support, ensuring smooth operation of applications and addressing any disruptions promptly.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail to identify and fix issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve environmental configuration and application support processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to achieve company objectives.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and stakeholders, conveying technical concepts clearly.
