Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant

Position Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant with expertise across multiple functional modules, including Recruitment, Learning, Talent Management (Career Planning & Performance), Payroll (UK Payroll), and Helpdesk.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and supporting Oracle Cloud HCM solutions to meet business needs and ensure seamless HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into functional Oracle Cloud HCM solutions.
  • Configure, implement, and support Oracle Cloud HCM modules such as :
  • Recruitment – candidate management, requisition setup, workflows, onboarding.
  • Learning – learning plans, course management, compliance tracking.
  • Talent Management – goal setting, performance reviews, career development, succession planning.
  • Payroll (UK Payroll) – payroll configuration, compliance, calculation rules, year-end processing.
  • Helpdesk – case management, knowledgebase, SLA monitoring.
  • Perform end-to-end testing (system, integration, regression, and UAT) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide functional support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within SLAs.
  • Partner with technical teams for integrations, reports, and security roles.
  • Deliver training and documentation to HR / Payroll users and business stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and apply new features to optimize business processes.
  • Support change management, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant.
  • Hands-on experience in at least two or more Oracle Cloud HCM modules (Recruitment, Learning, Talent Management, Payroll, or Helpdesk).
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud configurations, business processes, and best practices.
  • Experience with UK Payroll statutory requirements and compliance (for Payroll role).
  • Ability to conduct workshops, gather requirements, and write functional design documents (BRD / FRD).
  • Skilled in preparing test scripts, executing UAT, and supporting payroll parallel runs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze system behavior and recommend solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Oracle Cloud HCM Certification(s) preferred.
