TL;DR :
We're looking for a brilliant Marketing Data Analyst for a US-based marketing agency. You'll dig into Ads performance, build Looker dashboards that tell a story, and uncover insights that help clients grow. This role is perfect for someone who loves finding patterns in messy datasets, translates numbers into strategic recommendations, and enjoys diverse projects — from store selection analysis to identifying acquisition opportunities.
Role type : Full-time, Fully-remote, 4 : 30 pm - 1 : 30 am (IST)
Salary range : ₹10L - ₹14L per year (depending on experience)
What you'll do :
- Month-by-month rhythm : The first 10 days of each month, you'll review the previous month's performance for clients, extract meaningful insights, and arm account managers with insightful recommendations. The rest of your month is special projects – some quick wins, some longer-term investigations – all with significant autonomy.
- Marketing insights detective : You'll look beyond the surface-level metrics in Ads to identify why campaigns are performing the way they are and what can be done differently.
- Dashboard architect : Build and maintain Looker dashboards (or Power BI, or whatever tool makes the data sing) that make complex performance data instantly understandable for the account managers.
- Attribution problem-solver : Tackle murky attribution challenges – like when a client targets 100,000 people and sends six months of point-of-sale data to match back. You'll have to wrangle massive datasets and connect the dots.
- Strategic project partner : Work directly with the CEO on special projects ranging from site selection analysis using mapping software and demographics to identifying acquisition opportunities.
Who we’re looking for :
Someone with 3+ years of experience who has the following skills and traits :
Marketing mindset first : You have a strong marketing background and understand digital marketing metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) intuitively. You can look at campaign performance and immediately spot what's working and what isn't.Excel power user : This goes without saying, but you can manipulate data in Excel (or Google Sheets) with your eyes closed.Data visualisation storyteller : You're proficient with Looker Studio (or similar BI tools) and can build dashboards that don't just display data but communicate insightsPython capable : You can use Python for data analysis and matchbacks.Google ecosystem fluent : You're comfortable navigating Ads platforms and GA4 – not as a PPC manager, but as someone who can analyse returns and extract meaningful insights from the platforms.Autonomous operator : You can manage multiple special projects simultaneously and thrive with autonomy.Naturally curious : You're the type who sees a dataset and immediately starts asking "what if?" questions.Bonus points if you have
