Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced  Accountant  with strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and be proficient in handling GST, TDS, ESI, PF, and finalization of accounts while coordinating with the senior accounts team at head office.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and journal entries with accuracy.
• Handle  TDS : deduct TDS in invoices, prepare TDS workings, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Manage  GST compliance : including  GSTR-2A reconciliation, ineligible ITC adjustments, and GST return support .
• Perform  finalization of accounts : posting journal entries with their correct effects, preparing balance sheets, P&L accounts, and ensuring books are audit-ready.
• Prepare and manage  monthly ESI & PF sheets  for employee compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly MIS reports and financial analysis.
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and other reconciliations as needed.
• Work closely and coordinate with the  Senior Accounts team at Head Office  for reporting and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory timelines and support auditors during audits.
