SM-CAE - NVH Simulation

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Skills Required

Excellent understanding of acoustics and vibration principles

Strong experience with full vehicle NVH CAE

• Expert applied skill in OptiStruct (NASTRAN) or other FEM codes for NVH CAE
• Strong experience with HyperWorks (HyperMesh and HyperView) or ANSA
• Acoustic FEM / BEM analysis experience with Simcenter 3D or MSC Actran is a plus
• NVH testing experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to deliver analysis on difficult projects with tight timing constraints

Software Tools

Basics theory : FEA, NVH, Dynamics

Pre & Post processing : Hypermesh / optistruct / Hyperview

Optimization : Optistruct / Hyperstudy

NVH-Optistruct / LMS virtual lab

Scripting : TCL / tk / Matlab / Python / VB scripts-Excel etc

Experience Range

Relevant years of experience in automotive chassis simulation at system level.
