Senior Finance Manager – Accounting, Compliance & Month-End Close

Reports To :  CFO

Experience :  10+ Years with  5+ years leading a team

Qualification :   CA preferred   / M.Com with deep hands-on experience

With rapid expansion across India and upcoming global growth, Harley’s is building a modern, high-performance finance function to support its scaling operations.

Role Summary We are seeking a  Senior Finance Manager  to run the  day-to-day Accounting Department  and ensure flawless  compliance, reconciliations, and monthly closing  in a fast-moving, multi-outlet F&B environment.

This role suits someone who has handled  ₹100+ Cr businesses ,  10,000+ monthly journal entries , and has led accounting teams in high-volume retail / F&B setups.

Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting Operations Oversee end-to-end accounting for outlets, central kitchen, and HO.

Ensure accurate posting of high-volume journal entries across AP, AR, payroll, and inventory.

Maintain ownership of the General Ledger (GL) and account reconciliations.

Deliver clean P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

Strengthen controls around cash, petty cash, and store expenses.

Improve SOPs across accounting workflows.

Implement strong internal controls to prevent leakage and errors.

2. Month-End Close (D+5 Target) Drive a structured close calendar.

Ensure timely posting of accruals, provisions, allocations, and adjustments.

Coordinate with Revenue Assurance, Compliance, and FP&A teams.

3. Compliance & Statutory Oversee GST, TDS, PF / ESIC, PT filings and documentation.

Ensure zero lapses and readiness for statutory / internal audits.

Liaise with auditors and tax advisors.

6. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and CAs.

Allocate responsibilities, monitor output, enforce checklists.

Run weekly finance operations meetings.

Core Requirements 10–15 years accounting experience,  5+ years team leadership .

Experience handling  ₹100–250 Cr revenue  and  10k+ JEs / month .

Strong expertise in  GST, TDS, PF / ESIC , audit, and month-end close.

Hands-on with  Tally / Odoo  (or similar ERP).

Excellent Excel and reconciliation skills.

Strong communication and ability to enforce discipline.
