Script Writer (Intern)

About the Role :

We are looking for a creative and research-driven Script Writer Intern to assist in developing engaging content for our YouTube channel and social media strategy. The primary focus of this role is crafting high-retention long-form video scripts, followed by writing short-form video scripts (Shorts & Reels), and contributing to titles, descriptions, and captions. As an intern, you'll learn while contributing to impactful content in the education finance space.

Key Responsibilities :

• YouTube Long-form Content (Primary Priority)
• Assist in writing 5–10 minute YouTube scripts on topics such as education loans, scholarships, and student finance.
• Help create compelling hooks, engaging introductions, and clear transitions to capture and maintain the viewer's attention.
• Learn to integrate real-life examples and case studies to make the content relatable.
• Help structure scripts into easy-to-follow sections with timestamps or bullet points for better viewer engagement.
• Shorts & Reels
• Assist in writing 30-60 second scripts for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
• Repurpose sections of long-form videos into short-form content.
• Keep the tone engaging, maintaining hooks, dynamic pacing, and calls-to-action.
• Titles, Descriptions & Thumbnails
• Assist in crafting clickable, SEO-friendly titles (60–65 characters).
• Write engaging video descriptions with relevant keywords and hashtags to increase visibility.
• Contribute ideas for thumbnail text to maximize click-through rates (CTR).
• Additional Relevant Work
• Write community post content for YouTube (polls, FAQs, teaser copy).
• Conduct research on competitors, trends, and popular content formats to ensure our videos stay relevant.
