Software Developer (Java)

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Support the development team in resolving impediments and ensure smooth project execution.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and implement best practices in agile methodologies.Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.Track and report key agile metrics to measure team performance and project progress.Monitor and maintain cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure), ensuring high availability and performanceWork closely with cloud architects, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth operation of cloud environmentsImplement automation scripts for routine maintenance tasks and performance monitoring.Handle tier-3 support issuesBe comfortable working with source control branching strategiesWorking in high-velocity, agile teamRequirements : Experience with AWS Cloud platformExpert level experience with Java 8, Spring boot, Spring cloudStrong understanding of Scrum and agile methodologiesDemonstrate the ability to reduce complex ideas and problems into clear concepts and solutionsMust have experience developing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applicationsKnowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computingFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch).Experience with relational and NOSQL databases.Preferred Qualities : Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred3+ OR 5+ years of overall experience in Application / Solution Development domainExperience building Cloud Native ApplicationsGood to have React.js or AngularCertified Scrum Master (CSM) and relevant cloud certificationsExperience with full product lifecycleExperience with Atlassian suite : Jira, Confluence, etc.Expert level experience with Java 8, Spring boot, Spring cloudExcellent verbal and written communication skills
