Traveling Superintendent

We're currently looking for a Superintendent living in the Springfield Metro area to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced commercial ground-up Superintendent. Experience in building fast paced, quick turn around projects in the fuel / petroleum, retail, or restaurant industry is highly desired.

Nation wide travel is required and projects located near where you reside is not guaranteed.

What You'll Do

• Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring work meets safety, schedule, quality, and budget goals
• Collaborate with Project Managers and client reps to resolve conflicts and align with project specs and codes
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure scopes are understood and executed properly
• Maintain accurate daily job reports, purchase orders, job site photos, and time logs
• Facilitate weekly safety meetings and participate in incident investigations when necessary
• Conduct site housekeeping, equipment oversight, and tool management
• Lead project close-out efforts, including punch list completion, red-line drawings, and warranty submissions
• Mentor field staff including Project Engineers, Foremen, and Carpenters
