Job Description : Responsibilities :

  • Cloud Architecture Design : Design and implement robust cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cloud Strategy : Develop and execute cloud strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Infrastructure Management & Optimization : Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Analyze current cloud usage and identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance resource utilization.
  • Cloud Security : Establish and maintain security protocols for GCP resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Cost Management : Implement cost optimization strategies, including monitoring, rightsizing, and identifying underutilized resources.
  • Team Collaboration : Work with development, operations, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services.
  • IAM Management : Simplify and streamline Identity and Access Management policies, ensuring appropriate access control.
  • Apigee Management : Optimize API management workflows and costs using Apigee or alternative platforms.
  • Technology Leadership : Stay up to date with cloud technology advancements and provide recommendations to enhance the organization's cloud capabilities.
  • Disaster Recovery : Design and implement robust disaster recovery and backup strategies.
  • Best Practices : Stay up to date with GCP advancements and implement best practices for cloud operations.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on GCP.
  • Professional certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent.
  • Expertise in GCP services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub / Sub.
  • Hands-on experience with cost management and optimization tools like GCP Pricing Calculator and Billing Reports.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of API management and tools like Apigee.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud
  • Professional Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is preferred.
